RobsonWoese designed EWFD systems for 30+ sites throughout the states of South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia. Projects included design services to provide for complete replacement of building Early Warning Fire Detection systems with new, state-of-the-art Very Early Warning Fire Detection systems, including removal and disposal of Halon 1301 fire suppression systems and building retrofits of addressable fire alarm systems, incorporating air sampling smoke detection, elevator recall, and smoke control and purge systems. Services included on-site survey investigations of buildings in the three-state area and development of complete project drawings and specifications for all floors and sensitive telecommunications equipment bay areas. RW familiarity with the need for special procedures for telecommunications work of this type that occurs in highly secured and sensitive areas aided in the rapid development of the special requirements of the project.
