RobsonWoese To Provide FlexTech Assistance
for NYSERDA
Competitively
selected through an RFP process, New York State Energy Research
and Development Authority (NYSERDA), a public-benefit corporation
established to develop innovative solutions to New York State's
energy and environmental problems, has contracted with RobsonWoese
Consulting Engineers to provide a variety of custom-tailored
technical assistance services related to energy needs to New
York State organizations.
The Flexible Technical Assistance Program, which offers a 50% cost share up to $50,000 to perform studies with energy implications, is designed to increase productivity and economic competitiveness by identifying and encouraging the implementation of cost-effective, energy efficient measures.
Provided on a case-by-case, negotiated cost-shared basis, FlexTech services include engineering feasibility and technical assistance studies, detailed analyses of specific energy efficiency projects, process improvements, as well as technical training and seminars on energy efficiency topics and technologies. Additional services include engineering in support of project-financing proposals, commissioning of energy efficiency measures from pre-design through post-installation, and sustainable development and green building.
Among those eligible for the Flexible Technical Assistance Program are state and local governments, industrial and commercial facilities, not-for-profit and private institutions, agribusinesses and multi-family facilities as well as colleges, universities and public and private K-12 schools.
