Consulting
engineers Robson Woese, Inc. has offices across New York and
in (Boston, MA and) Raleigh-Durham, N.C.
The company's Web page (www.robsonwoese.com) opens with a Flash animation screen that can be quickly bypassed with the "skip intro" button. Depending on the system, the animation may be over before the visitor can click out.
The site's main screen offers the choice of an image-map link system or standard text links. The image map lights up a picture as the user scrolls the cursor across each word. The company's offices are linked along the right side of the page. An online form provides a quick way to send each office a message. There are phone numbers, addresses, and e-mail listings for each office as well.
The site's sections are listed on the main page. Each section opens with a brief explanation along with the option to get further details.
Robson Woese doesn't dump loads of information on visitors, but the info is there if it's wanted. In the consulting section, clicking on a sub-topic brings up a specific example. For banking, there's an HSBC building along with a brief listing of what consulting Robson Woese did for the bank.
Under "program management," visitors can follow the brief explanation with specifics regarding Robson Woese's work with Verizon. The site presents a wealth of well-engineered information.
