Mission Critical Facility Electrical Service and Generator
This effort required a combined team effort of RobsonWoese Inc, our Confidential Client, and contractors involved with the replacement project.
Implementation required:
- Installation of temporary electrical utility service and emergency power systems, as well as temporary electrical distribution throughout the construction phase
- Development of a detailed "sequence of operations" plan instructing the contractor how to work on active systems without disrupting business operations
- Development and implementation of a validated system test that proved proper operation of the system when completed
- Constructon of a 3,500 SF building addition to house equipment
Equipment installed included:
- New utility electrical service and distribution switchgear
- Three 1500kW diesel generators and paralleling switchgear
- Four 500kVA UPS modules
- Associated mechanical systems, electrical distribution equipment, and electrical feeders/devices required for complete system operation
