RobsonWoese has provided HVAC, fire protection, and electrical services for this confidential client's data centers nation-wide. One typical project included a detailed design evaluation report and design development documents for the renovation of a 6,000 sq. ft./10,000 sq. ft. future data center, followed by design and construction administration services for the construction and commissioning of the facility. The electrical system included dual electric services, two 1.5 MW generators, dual modular UPS systems, and redundant 2 N+1, Tier 3 power system for the data racks. Additionally, RW provided engineering design and construction administration for the renovation of an existing 67,000 sq. ft. building to house data center/headend facilities, training facilities, and offices for broadband cable operations.
