Phasing and Implementation
Confidential Client, NY
This Confidential Client engaged RobsonWoese for a fast paced project to upgrade the emergency power system for their active data center. RW was responsible for the electrical design to reconfigure the existing electrical distribution system to accommodate two new 1250 kW emergency generators and provide additional UPS power for expanding process and cooling loads. In addition, RW provided engineering services for witnessing the commissioning process. Since the facility accommodated an active data center that could not experience any shut downs, careful coordination and phasing were implemented during the design and construction and the risks of power interruption during construction were eliminated.
