Commissioning
Commissioning lowers the risk of failure
in your data center.
The commissioning process will determine how well a facility functions long term. Failure to properly commission a data center can lead to costly down-time that could have been avoided. RobsonWoese acts as the owner's agent to confirm the data center systems such as power, cooling, fire suppression and security perform as intended.

NYSERNet Commissioning Services
Syracuse, NY
NYSERNet selected RobsonWoese to be the commissioning agent at their Business Continuity Center. This disaster recovery solution requires duplication of mission critical information systems at a location sufficiently removed from member campuses. This is a primary backup system location in the event of a disaster. The NYSERNet network serves nearly 200 universities, elementary and secondary schools, hospitals, museums, libraries and other research institutions. As the commissioning agent, RW performed commissioning tests on the data center electric distribution, emergency power system, cooling system, and basement leak detection system. A total of 20 different components/systems were included in the process, including emergency power system, automatic transfer switches, switchboards, UPS, distribution panels, static transfer switches, power distribution units, and data room.
