The New York State Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA) operates an incentive program targeted at influencing energy efficiency in new construction. RW has performed nearly 25 projects under this contract analyzing energy efficiency alternatives in commercial building construction. Some of the measures that have been evaluated include geothermal heat pumps, efficient chillers, lighting, motors, daylighting and lighting control systems, adjustable speed drives, and building control systems. Through the NYSERDA contract RW has supported the sustainable design aspects of numerous projects. Some of these services have included green building design support and documentation for projects seeking LEED certification, commissioning of buildings for LEED, Executive Order 111 and NYSERDA. RobsonWoese Inc studies have identified over $1M in incentive dollars from NYSERDA and millions more of avoided energy costs for our customers.
