Design-Build Project Manager
Buffalo
Qualified candidates will possess a BS in Engineering or Construction Management (or related degree/professional licensure) along with 10+ years experience specific to design-build projects in a developer-architect-contractor environment. Building modification construction management experience is a plus. Will be responsible to take ownership for overall project success, including: project schedule, profit, quality (concept through start-up), and risk management. The expectation is to manage the deliverable interface between engineering and contracting to produce the lowest possible project cost, while delivering value as defined by the client. These responsibilities will require exceptional project and construction management skills, including: estimating, contract negotiation and management, leading project engineering and construction reviews/meetings, procurement, and construction scheduling and expediting. Familiarity with applicable industry codes and standards, understanding of contract labor issues, conflict resolution skills, and fiscal business knowledge including cash flow practices are a must.
